Chinese Bodywork for Clinical Practice: A Five Module Certificate Course
60 In-Person Continuing Education Credits (currently pending approval by the NCCAOM)
Handskill is both the highest and most fundamental aspect of treatment, with quality of touch having the greatest impact on the treatments we give and the success we achieve. The ancient Chinese focused on developing touch into the highest healing tool within the field of Chinese medicine. To treat disease without deeply training the hands greatly limits the speed and success of our clinical results.
This five module intensive training program provides the same foundation Andrew Nugent-Head learned in China, focusing on training the hands before advancing to other techniques. In Andrew's opinion, this is most important piece of practicing tangible, effective and reliable medicine and the reason he achieves great clinical success.
This course offers online lecture content above and 60 hours of in-person training over five weekends, covering:
• Daoist Zangfu Organ Massage for digestive & OBGYN/fertility issues
• Yin Style Bagua Bodywork to differentiate Qi vs Blood Techniques
• Tui You Medicinal Liniment Massage (oil based Tuina techniques to affect the muscles & sinews)
• Chinese Foot Massage for internal illness & nervous system disorders
